ALCA submission to the Climate Change Bill 2022 inquiry

ALCA supports the passage of the Climate Change Bill 2022 and Climate Change (Consequential Amendments) Bill 2022, whilst noting that significant improvements to the Federal Government’s emission reductions targets are still required. It also highlights the opportunity for the Government to use its revised target as a catalyst to invest in nature-based solutions at scale.

In its submission, ALCA supports the passage of the Climate Change Bill 2022 and Climate Change (Consequential Amendments) Bill 2022whilst noting that further and significant improvements to the Federal Government’s emission reductions targets are still required.
