ALCA submission to the Review of the NSW Biodiversity Conservation Act
The regression in NSW’s protection of biodiversity has occurred within the context of the accelerating nature crisis facing our nation.
The NSW Government has an opportunity to put its state and community onto a path that recognises the increasingly important value of protecting its remaining biodiversity and to reorient towards restoration.
An enlivened and refreshed Biodiversity Conservation Act is needed to deliver a nature positive future for NSW.
