ALCA’s inaugural Conservation Finance Intensive was co-hosted by Trust for Nature (Victoria) and Accounting for Nature in Melbourne.
One of the major hurdles to scaling up conservation finance flows in Australia is a shared understanding of its fundamentals: what the conservation finance models are, where and how deals
are getting done, and the associated risks and returns. Through expert panels, engaging practical activities, interactive case studies and networking sessions, this 2-day intensive explored the key issues related to scaling up conservation finance flows in Australia. Attendees heard from local and international experts on how they’re getting deals done, and how to be part of the future of conservation finance in Australia.
